I started with no router experience a year ago. Last Sept I passed my written but I didn't study the lab until Dec. This January, I attended Brians' workshop in NYC and this is the key to pass the exam. I have no doubt about it. Speaking of the lab itself, it is not as hard as the IE labs. The IE labs cover most of the materials you need to pass the lab. However, you can't just memorize the answer key and pass it. To pass the lab, you must understand what technology. Also, don't argue with the questions. Do what they asked. No more no less. It is a long journey but worth to go.
