I passed my CCIE R&S lab Sunday at Cisco Live in San Diego. I used self study materials as well as a live bootcamp in August 2011. I took the CCIE lab immediately after the August 2011 bootcamp and passed configuration but failed on troubleshooting. I used the month leading up to Cisco Live to really hit Workbook Vol. 4 and focused all of my efforts on getting my speed up. Trust me when I tell you, as long as you don't give up, you can do this. I started in 2007, had to retake my written because the first one expired and, on the day of my lab, had to deal with network outages that made for a really long day. Don't give up, manage your time and don't stress out about it. The more relaxed you are, the better off you'll be.
