My story of success in pursuing CCIE certification was quite usual or at least I think it was quite common. I was very bored after taking CCNP and one of my colleagues encouraged me to take CCIE track. He also mentioned that there is a company called INE which makes very good job at helping people in passing that cert. The next step was to convince my employer to buy :) to by vol1/vol2 for me which I managed to do. All further steps were easy with the help of INE (including their blog + member community).
