The most unique part of my story is probably that the day I passed the CCIE lab had actually closed due to inclement weather. I had never heard of the lab being closed and needless to say this was a situation I had not prepared for. Luckily I did not check my email and showed up anyway along with 3 other candidates. Bobby and Howard the proctors at RTP were nice enough to drive in through the snow and the lab was opened. Other candidates were then notified and I think all but one or two was able to sit.
