After many lengthy days of preparation, I achieved a second CCIE by passing the Service Provider lab on my first attempt! An integral part of my preparation and certainly one of the best, if not the best, investments I have ever made, was the the self-paced training bundle I bought from INE that includes the ATC, the workbook, and the lab bootcamp videos. The ATC was crucial in learning the most important skill for a network engineer - troubleshooting and thinking outside the box. The workbook was really good in presenting you the various problems you can encounter in MPLS networks in both the IOS and IOS XR implementations. And the lab bootcamp videos complete the picture with good strategy advice about how to tackle the exam and the decisions you have to make during the actual exam. And finally, I used INE's rack rentals extensively, which was an absolute pleasure. Being able to load all the configs in advance or change configs in a few clicks and only in 12 minutes and the ability to book rack time for as long as you need rather than for fixed time slots, made the whole preparation for the exam an enjoyable and hassle-free experience. INE is without a doubt the best training vendor out there and I will certainly use their products for other tracks in the future!
