CCIE

When I joined Cisco in August 2007 one of the most challenging task they gave me was to pass CCIE lab within first year. At the end it turned out to be less than 3 months to pass it. I couldn't imagine how to approach it at that time, but then I attended 2 day strategy bootcamp lead by Brian Dennis. His advices and strategy tips really help me to stop loosing time and start my highly effective preparation. I started with CCIE R&S Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand which is truly the best source of lab theory which make my life much easier so many times. After theory classes I begun to work on labs from Workbook Volume 2. Even though first few labs took me 2 days to complete one of them, I didn't give up and it paid off. 6 weeks before lab I attended CCIE R&S 5 Day Bootcamp lead by Brian McGahan in Amsterdam. Excellent Brian's experience and knowledge helped me a lot to fill understanding gaps and move time needed to about 8 hours. After bootcamp I focused only on labs from Workbook Vol.2 from where I completed almost all 20 of them. In the meantime I took 3 mock labs which turned out to be another great experience on my way to CCIE. Especially proctor's notes were extremely useful to realize how important are small details on real lab. And after less than 3 months of preparation with Internetwork Expert I passed my lab in Brussels on first attempt. Big, big thank you for your brilliant products and special thanks to both Brians for helping people with this industry the most difficult exam. Internetwork Expert is the way to pass CCIE lab by strong understanding of technology and ability to configure, verify and troubleshoot them. Thanks again.
