CCIE

Just wanted to let you know that I passed my CCIE R&S Lab yesterday (CCIE 21709 is my number). A path to my success is shown below as I believe you may like to know about success stories and study plans. I have been working with Cisco Networking equipment since year 2000 and started at the bottom working with relatively simple low-end ISDN routers (Does anyone remember the Cisco 700 series routers :o)). Over the next 7-years I followed the standard certification path of attaining CCNA, CCNP and CCIP, but like so many others I couldn't really commit the time to studying for CCIE due to that fact I was to busy at work. In January this year I decided that for once in my life I would put myself first and I took the CCIE written exam. At the end of February I had received my Internetworkexpert workbooks and put a training plan in place... ...All of the hard work above paid off and I attained my CCIE R&S number this morning. I thought the exam was tough, but fair (not as tough as IE Labs). I cant say enough about the Internetworkexpert material and approach to studying. My studying was based on the Internetworkexpert CCIE end-to-end program and I believe the structured approach was key in me passing the exam. A very special thanks to Brian Dennis and Petr Lapukhov who were my instructors on the bootcamp in April and the Mock Lab week in June. Their experience and knowledge was very valuable to me. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Brian and Scott but know they are both equally valuable assets to the IE team. Thanks also to Michael Bishop who was my IE Sales advisor who was very helpful in setting up my IE CCIE end-to-end program. Thanks a lot and good luck to you all.
